A great man is one that respects and honours people that helped him to reach his goals
Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson proved his class once again by gifting his ring to a doctor. The former Golden State Warriors player knows he couldn't have won an NBA title with the GSW back in 2022 if he weren't healthy.
Thompson presented Dr Richard Ferkel, the orthopaedic surgeon who repaired Thompson's Achilles in November 2020, with the ring after the recent Mavericks-Los Angeles Lakers game.

Steph Curry's former teammate made an incredibly classy gesture, that honors those people that stay in the shadows but are crucial for franchise's success.
"Oh my gosh, this is unbelievable," Ferkel is heard saying in a video of the moment, captured by The Athletic's Sam Amick. Thompson then replies, "Without you, I would not have been the second-leading scorer on a championship team."
Some of Ferkel's other clients include Thompson's former teammate and Warriors championship winner Steph Curry.
